New Campus Tour

On Wed 8 Dec 2004, all our (60++ excited) teaching staff were brought on a tour of the new school grounds. Many of them simply could not contain their elated states (evident from the photographs) as they toured the new blocks and the facilities the new campus had to offer. The contractors were adding on the final touches to the school to meet the 28 December 04 school opening deadline.

You would probably know the new exciting features by now from our blog last month but nothing prepared the staff when they strolled into the crisp & freshly painted rooms(and labs) in the new campus. The library was at least 4 times larger than its predecessor. The jaw-dropping auditorium was as posh as it had been imagined to be. Our teachers were simply delighted with their new staff room fitted with their very own swanky brand new tables. Ms Kymm and Mdm Hasnah could not help themselves from dancing barefooted in their dance and drama room. Mrs Chua transformed into Madame Butterfly in our blue room also slated to be the video production and animation studios.

West Spring is indeed headed for great times ahead. We are at the threshold of greatness. A great school building must be matched with equally great students (of course teachers). In confidence, results and outlook. And I see this everywhere in all of you. To top it all up, I think we have a cool blogsite for everyone to keep in touch.

So come on down everybody on the 28 December 2004 when we officially welcome all staff and students to the new campus. Alumni, new Sec 1s, new S2s, new S3s, new S4s.... we will see you there.
